  • Pricing units are calculated as follows:
    English – Japanese: One page equivalent to 150 words original text.
    Japanese – English: One page equivalent to 300 characters original text
  • Cross-checking services for both Japanese and English originals and their respective translated texts are available. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require such services, we will be happy to provide a separate estimate.
  • Concerning urgent projects please be sure to contact us in advance by telephone as these may be subject to a surcharge.
  • Rates for bulk and regular publications, etc. are negotiable.
  • Please provide glossaries of preferred/specialist vocabulary, samples of past translations and other relevant reference materials where available as this will allow our translators to ensure consistency and provide better overall quality in translation.
  • Please send the original text for translation in a data file format. Although hand-written originals can be accommodated, translated texts shall, in principle, be delivered in a data file format such as MS Word.
  • DTP work other than translation, such as layouts editing, charts, diagrams, etc. will be charged separately.
  • Translations can be delivered in any format (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Illustrator, HTML etc.).
  • All documents are handled with the utmost confidentiality. Our Confidentiality Agreement shall be forwarded upon request.
  • Please allow ample time for delivery to ensure the highest translation quality. For projects with a clear schedule, advance notification will enable us to secure the services of the most qualified translator.
